Rustic Furniture
All of our rustic dining room tables and chairs are made from real wood. Many of these rustic pieces are constructed using log or slabs of wood. At Home Xpressions, we search for products that have character and contain cracks, twists and variations in color. These characteristics are intentional and not considered a defect of the product. In addition, cracks and twists within the wood may change slightly throughout the year as the moisture content in the air and in your home changes. Low humidity levels within the home may cause the wood to crack or move more than a home with proper levels of humidity.
Small cracks can be repaired by simply using wood putty with a plastic putty knife or some cracks gain more character by highlighting them dabbing black stain in the crack. With proper care, your furniture can maintain its character and beauty for many years to come!
